Professional Hair Shampoo

Additional Hair Care Information:

Once the problem of dandruff persists, it becomes very difficult to manage it. You have to take extra care of your hair and scalp to alleviate the dandruff occurrence. In doing so anti dandruff treatments are of great help but you should also choose the right treatment to get rid of dandruff fast. If you do not opt for the right treatment for this problem then it can get worse. Before choosing the treatment you should determine the cause of your dandruff. It is caused by many agents which includes dietary deficiency, lifestyle factors, and infection and due to some disease.

If you have this problem due to dietary deficiency then you should take supplements or food rich in that nutrient. This is caused mostly by deficiency of zinc, vitamin b12 and omega 3 fatty acids. Then comes the lifestyle factors which includes keeping hair wet for long, not using good shampoo, using too much of hair styling products or not cleaning hair and scalp regularly. The shampoo you use should be effective enough on your dandruff and for that it should have Ketoconazole and zinc pyrithione also known as ZnPTO. These two chemicals have anti fungal properties which can help you to get rid of the dandruff with regular use. But being harsh on hair and scalp, they can cause harm to them as well, which is why you must look for natural or herbal dandruff remedies to get relief from the problem.

Some of the herbal homemade remedies are:

  • Coconut oil and camphor: mix powdered camphor in coconut oil and keep it for few days. Apply this oil to the hair and scalp regularly to get rid of dandruff.
  • Fenugreek and curd paste: soak fenugreek overnight and make a fine paste with it. Mix it with some curd and apply to the scalp. Wash your hair after a couple of hours using a gentle shampoo.
  • Lemon and vinegar mixture: take a table spoon of lemon juice and mix it with 2 table spoon of vinegar. Massage this mixture onto the scalp, leave for 3 hours and rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Olive oil: warm some olive oil and massage your scalp with it. Leave it overnight and wash your hair with protein shampoo or a gentle herbal anti dandruff shampoo.
