While there are people whose problems involve how they can re-grow their hair, there are also those individuals whose concern is how to eliminate their excessive and unwanted hair growths. Squeeze some lemons. Place the extracted juice in a bowl where you will mix it with half cup of honey and one cup of water. Put in half a cup of gram flour and stir until you have formed a paste. Cover the mixture and allow setting. In the meantime, you can take a warm shower so that the skin and the hair on your body will be softened. Use only a gentle moisturizing soap for cleaning the skin. Rinse well and pat your skin dry. Apply a generous amount of the paste to the areas where the unwanted hair growths are. Leave the paste onto the skin and let it to harden for approximately 30 minutes. Afterward, you can gently scrub the area using a loofah or bath sponge to remove the paste with the hair strands. Take a shower again to completely wash out the paste mixture and any residues.

Pumice Stones

These stones have pores that are helpful in removing the hair by scrubbing it on the skin surface. Before you scrub, make sure you first apply soap or lotion onto your skin. Scrubbing without lubricants will result to rashes or red skin spots. Using pumice stone regularly when taking a bath will help remove unwanted hair within several months. Pumice stones may be bought from local drugstores or online stores.

Gram Flour/Turmeric Powder

You need to prepare a paste by combining turmeric powder, gram flour and curd. Once the paste is done, you can then apply it to your skin where the unwanted hairs are. Let the paste dry and harden for about half an hour. After 30 minutes, you can rub the paste opposite the direction of hair growth to remove the hair. You can apply moisturizer on your skin after the process. This natural treatment can be applied once a week. Within four months, you can then see visible results. This natural treatment can also be safe to use by children or people with sensitive skin.

Turmeric is an herb that has been traditionally used for many purposes such as to reduce swelling, pain and other skin problems. A simple paste made from water and turmeric powder can effectively be used in your home waxing procedure. You can use this turmeric-water paste on any parts of the body, including the face.

Spearmint Tea

In women, excessive hair growth is associated or caused by hormone imbalance or too much testosterone. This excessive level of testosterone can be dealt with by drinking spearmint tea. One cup of this tea a day, during mornings can help attain positive results.
